Are There Simple Ways To Massively Transform Your Business With Minimum Effort? Great Question.
Everywhere you look we have marketing gurus and self-improvement wallahs claiming you can change decades of blood sweat and tears, sleepless nights, and commercial struggles, with the click of a finger - you know how it goes - "just visualize it and it shall be yours".
I do not agree fully, nor do I dismiss it in its entirety - sometimes you can think on something enough and it will happen.
Visualization can have its place, but that is not the only element.
Determination, persistence, willingness to do whatever it takes also count.
But what makes THE greatest difference?
Following analysis of people who are successful, and working with many entrepreneurs who have been the same, it comes down to one thing.
Yes, you can have a great idea, but then it's down to the implementation.
Yes, you can have luck but that's down to what came before it, and what you did to create it.
Yes, it may come down to the right product/service, being in the right place at the right time, but that's down to what sales triggers you have seen, interpreted, and acted on, to make that happen.
So what is the common thread? - ACCURATE THINKING!
You can have many great ideas, but to move them forward you have to have something that is not talked about very often. A simple, yet essential capability - that of accurate thinking. BUT - is the capability of accurate thinking something we all already have? The answer to that is both Yes and No.
Is it something we can all do - absolutely yes.
But how?
To trade day-to-day business stress for better, quality time, to be able to focus on ways to make those extra business improvements you know you need to make, and achieve the greater profits you deserve, you need to adapt your thinking so you can enjoy more wealth creation and have the time and freedom to enjoy it.
Now, you may be thinking this sounds like just the guru banter I was complaining about at the outset of this blog post. Here is why it is not:
Accurate thinking comes from thinking right:
Thinking: opinion or judgment, the process of thought, use of intelligent thought, to ponder a matter or problem
Right: In accordance with fact, reason, or truth, appropriate, fitting, or proper.
Thinking Right, creating accurate thinking, enables you to approach solving your business problems, and transforming your business performance, in different ways. But you also need to know your own levels of clarity, balance, and access to the different levels of thinking you need to apply.
It starts with:
- your own, greater understanding of how your own decision-making works
- discovering what your own "values" system is and why
- then working on how your value system operates and how you apply it
- how you relate to your team in your business and vice versa
- the way your business thinks about itself, its products or services, and its market
- what others think of your business
- how you attract, recruit, develop and train your staff
- how you communicate with your market through medium and message
- how your senior management and teams relate to each other and the goals of the business
- how you set about improving what you do.
Just understanding these things alone vastly improves how you think, about, and for - your business - and you.
The key is knowing how to tap into your thinking and decision-making in ways you have not done so before to create great, accurate thinking.
Once you discover it you will see how it can be applied to maximise your whole business.
Even though you apply your thinking thousands of times every day, very few people understand how their own thinking and decision-making patterns work - yet, the outcomes of that thinking and decision-making affect you in every way, every day.
If you could understand, and see, how your decision-making and thinking work, and how cloudy or clear your current access to that thinking is, you gain ways, already experienced by 10,000's of others, to better apply your thinking every day, every hour.
Having that understanding will help you achieve more, and gain a more balanced view of your "self", and how that relates to your job, your business, your family business members, and how to improve what you get from each.
So, let me ask you:
Do YOU truly understand "how" you think? Most people either don't understand (or aren't sure) how they think, so you are not alone.
It took me nearly 45 years, and a discovery of something else to gain the clarity I needed to get back into my own business and to move it forward dramatically.
Discovering how you really make decisions, and the thinking you access to make them can:
- Help you understand the circumstances where you will think brilliantly
- Give you control to create more opportunities for your success
- Help you to knowingly avoid situations that weaken you
- Show you where to actively seek out just the opportunities that play to your and your businesses strengths
- Mean less stress, less frustration, and mean more life and work enjoyment, and greater success.
OK, you ask: "Sounds reasonable but how do I get "Accurate thinking"?
You may not know it yet but typical thinking uses just one of the three dimensions that control what you do in your decision-making.
And, your unknowing use of just this one of these three dimensions may have been holding you back, through no fault of your own, in both your personal life and in business.
Gaining a fuller, deeper, understanding of your thinking will flag up your personal blockages, and highlight areas where you can gain new clarity, balance, and focus in your thinking - and that will help you achieve more.
Many people know they have some form of "blockage", or in-built level of frustration, but have yet to find the "key" to unlock it and banish it. By looking at how, and measuring how your thinking works, you can redefine and reframe your thinking so you jump ahead and gain major life improvements. This may simply be a higher level of self-fulfillment, or more commercial success. Perhaps both.
Evaporating away this "blockage" will remove the handcuffs that have been shackling you, your business, your job, career, or your department, back for years, even decades. These blockages, and your greater awareness of them, once removed, can catapult you to greater success. So, .......
Are you ready for self-liberation?
Once you see and understand how you think, and reach decisions, niggling thoughts of underachievement will be gone.
Many people KNOW they can achieve more, much more, but just don't seem to make it happen. Measuring, scientifically, how you think will help you do just that - make it happen.
That quiet voice in your head that says; "Am I good enough?" - that niggle that sees other business owners, or fellow entrepreneurs achieve what you wish to achieve, but think you can't - will also be banished and replaced by a whole new, inner language that will give to you more confidence, charisma, and results. Remember its about Accurate Thinking.
Currently, globally there is role and goal frustration on a massive scale. Not good for them, you, or the rest of us.
If you suffer from role or goal frustration, on any level, you are under extra stress and pressure, either at home or at work, then discovering what leads you to this thinking, and how you present and relate that to others, and how others perceive you and your role, can be an enlightening, and calming experience. You will find it incredibly liberating too.
If you own a business or are a senior manager; sorting your employee's role and goal frustration, as well as your own, can massively boost your results, performance, and kudos.
Because job frustration can be a horror.
Office politics, passed over for promotion, failed target attainment, lack of job control, and more. But, by discovering and helping others in your organisation see their own life balance and clarity, can massively help your business, helps them to a better role, to work better with colleagues, and gain a better placement of things, and people, in their lives. Do that and business results can be rapidly transformed with minimum effort. I know, I have been there more than once.
The programming that started how you think began at a very early age and has determined where you have been so far in life and what you have achieved. But that early programming, if it was, and still is, working against you, can be changed.
Alternatively, you may already have a life where you live comfortably yet feel you are not truly "connected" to the role, goal, or reward you seek and feel some "thing" is missing from your past successes and current role. If you do, you can change that too, but from a position of greater strength and understanding.
Lastly, if you are not living as comfortably as you desire, you may be seeking ways to get back on track. If so you need to understand your thinking, and how your decision-making may be getting in the way of that goal. Once you do, you avoid falling back into the same processes that may have caused your situation in the first place.
Whatever your situation, understanding your own "self" better - based on a proper, proven scientific approach - and not some life coach "mumbo jumbo" - will help you find the missing piece of your personal jigsaw.
